Montessori, with a clear path to primary school

In a Montessori classroom children explore, discover and learn at their own pace with hands-on materials, freedom balanced by gentle guidance, and mixed-age activities that encourage leadership and teamwork. At Global Shine we pair this with the academic structure of a CBSE-aligned foundation and project-based STEAM learning, so children enjoy learning and are also on track with developmental benchmarks.

Junior KG (3 – 4 years)

• Reading readiness — phonics, sight words and comprehension.
• Writing skills — correct letter formation and first words.
• Mathematics — addition, subtraction, shapes and patterns.
• Science exploration — simple experiments and observation.
• Social studies — community helpers and cultural awareness.

Senior KG (4 – 5 years)

• Advanced reading — fluent reading and story comprehension.
• Creative writing — story creation and journaling.
• Advanced maths — multi-digit numbers, time and money.
• STEM activities — technology integration and coding basics.
• Leadership skills — confidence building and presentation.

Beyond the classroom

Kindergarten children can also join our extra-curricular classes — chess, abacus, drawing, dance, music, keyboard and self-defence — right on campus. After Senior KG, children continue into our primary school (Grade 1–5).
